Collective Action
Kindergartens Aotearoa is committed to community-based, not-for-profit, high-quality public early childhood education in Aotearoa. Our advocacy - alongside other organisations - aims to ensure tamariki, whānau and communities thrive now and in the generations to come. You can be involved too - find out more.

Child Poverty Action Group (CPAG)
We focus on systemic change to eliminate child poverty from Aotearoa. No child should have to rely on charity for the things they need to thrive.

Te Rito Maioha
We are passionate advocates for ECE, striving to maintain a focus on the education and wellbeing of our youngest tamariki. We champion the rights and recognition of ECE kaiako. We believe that supporting and valuing our educators is not only essential to fostering an enriching learning environment for children but also crucial for our kaiako, as they lay the foundation for lifelong learning.

NZEI Te Riu Roa
NZEI Te Riu Roa brings educators together to campaign for systemic change and a fairer future in education ensuring tamariki, whānau and communities thrive.

Toitū te Tiriti
We’re commited to decolonising our structures and processes and supporting kaiako and kaimahi Māori in the re-indigenisation of education for mokopuna Māori.

Loud for ECE
We’re calling on the Government to put children at the heart of their decisions and back quality early education for all.

Kimi haeata l Back our future
We’re calling on government to uphold te Tiriti o Waitangi in education; ensure a teacher aide in every classroom; educators are valued fairly and have secure work; and defend quality ECE
