Kidsfirst Kindergartens

Kidsfirst Kindergartens is a not-for-profit early childhood education provider with around 64 kindergartens throughout Canterbury, the West Coast and Central Otago. They cater to tamariki from the age of two, and from birth at Kidsfirst Diamond Harbour and Niu.

With over 110 years of experience in serving tamariki, whānau and communities, Kidsfirst is one of Aotearoa’s most enduring early childhood organisations.

“Each of our kindergartens is different, reflecting the unique needs of individual communities. However, they share some common characteristics that lie at the heart of Kidsfirst: our not-for-profit status.” This means that they are able to give back to their community, and invest in their tamariki, whānau and their futures.
