Kindergartens Aotearoa is a collective of regional kindergarten associations dedicated to supporting tamariki and whānau through community-based, not-for-profit early childhood education.
We collaborate to strengthen the kindergarten movement, uphold the highest standards of teaching and learning, and ensure that public ECE services remain equitable, accessible, and responsive to the diverse needs of Aotearoa’s communities.
Our collective of six regional kindergarten associations operates 260 ECE services nationwide, caters for 12,000 children and whānau, and employs 100% qualified teachers.
